Eddie Van Halen’s son Wolfgang has fired back at the way one U.S. magazine is covering his dad’s death, insisting the tragedy shouldn’t be used as “entertainment”.

The Van Halen bassist was upset to see an Us Weekly headline about his mother, Valerie Bertinelli, and dad, who lost his battle with cancer last month, which read: “Love, Loss & Staying Strong”.

Wolfgang has taken to social media to blast publication editors, stating: “F— this, and f— you US Weekly. The only thing printed in this piece of toilet paper that’s true is that we all loved my father. This is not a new interview. My mother did not speak to them for this. That is all.
