Actor Haruma Miura has died aged 30 from a suspected suicide.
The Japanese star was found unresponsive at his home in Tokyo by his manager, after he didn’t show up for work. Miura was rushed to the hospital, but declared dead upon arrival.
According to multiple reports, Tokyo Metropolitan Police officers are investigating the death as a possible suicide.
Haruma made his acting debut in the 1997 drama Agri aged seven, and scored his big break in 2009 with his role in the movie Naoko, for which he won the newcomer award at the Japan Academy Awards.
He also starred in the two-part live-action adaptation of Attack On Titan, in which he played the role of Eren, and will appear on screen later this year in Love Will Begin When Money End, which premieres in September.
