Dancer-turned-TV personality Carrie Ann Inaba has become the latest U.S. celebrity to test positive for COVID-19.
The Dancing with the Stars judge has posted a series of Instagram videos detailing her symptoms, while urging fans and followers to take extra care to avoid the coronavirus.
“Hey Everyone, I have tested positive for COVID 19,” she wrote. “I’m home with some symptoms and will be sequestering as per the CDC (Centers for Disease Control and Prevention) guidelines, resting and taking care of myself.
“I have been in a very safe environment following all the guidelines and safety protocols and it still found it’s (sic) way to me. So, this is a friendly reminder to be extra careful this holiday season.
“Wear your masks, socially and physically keep your distance, and wash your hands. Take care everyone…”
Jenna Dewan, who joined Inaba virtually as a guest co-host on daytime show The Talk earlier this week, was among the first to offer her support, writing: “Ohhhh nooooo !! Take care and rest and sending you tons of love.”
The news comes shortly after Ellen DeGeneres announced she was isolating after testing positive for COVID-19.
